Sarah's track on this sounds as if it came straight off her first album, Touch. The song is exclusive to the release of this CD.
Track 6 is by Moev - the band that Nettwerk was created to promote. Sarah was approached by Nettwerk after she was heard performing as the opening act for Moev. You can read the full story in an interview I transcribed from BBC Radio 2.

Sarah McLachlan - "What Lies Beyond (Two Birds Flying)"
Sarah McLaclan has accumulated an incredible amount of musical experience in her young life. Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Sarah has twelve years of classical guitar, eight years of classical piano and five year credit. Sarah's debut album "Touch", released late in 1988, is a beautiful blend of this formal skill and a modern attitude and has proved itself as a record of consistent critical acclaim. Sarah was originally approached by Nettwerk in 1985 to front Moev but as circumstance dictated she was unable to make a complete commitment to her musical career until she began working on her own material in 1987.

In 1989 Sarah was approached by Hinton Animation to write a piece to accompany a flying scene that occurs in the animated film entitled "The Admiral and the Princess". The result is this self-produced track "What Lies Beyond (Two Birds Flying)" that is exclusive to this release.
